Day 1 - Vancouver to Golden
VANCOUVER HOSTEL PICKUPS
Meet & Greet: @ Jericho Beach
HWY 1: We head east through the spectacular Fraser Valley on the Trans Canada.
Bridal Veil Falls: What a way to start the tour! These falls are straight out of a painting!
Hope: Dubbed, “The Gateway to Holiday Land” we hit this mountain town for road-trip supplies.
Coquihalla Hwy: We will ascend almost 1000m through the Coast Mountains into the interior plateau of BC.
Kamloops: A lunch stop in the interior’s second largest city.

Day 2 - Golden to Banff
Welcome to the Rocky Mountains !!
Yoho National Park : A first nations (Cree) word for”In Awe”.
Emerald Lake : Take a walk around our first glacier fed, glowing green lake.
Natural Bridge : See what two thousand years and a raging river create!
Takkawkaw Falls (seasonal): The second highest waterfall in Western Canada explodes from the mountain side. “It is wonderful!”
Lake Louise: Take some time to explore the most popular spot in the Rockies .
Banff : The Heart of the National Park, this is the hub for our Rockies adventure.
Day 3 - Banff Area Tour
Banff Hoodoos: See the legendary land formations overlooking the Bow Valley and magnificent Mount Rundle .
Lake Minnewanka loop: Hike through alpine terrain with views of Cascade Mountain .
Johnston Canyon : Traverse a suspended walkway along the walls of this ancient limestone canyon.
Castle Mountain : This photo op is a crowd pleaser!
Vermillion Lakes Viewpoint: The photo of Banff and Mt. Rundle everyone wants!
Free time: Climb Sulphur Mountain for the panoramic view and soak in Banff ’s natural Hot Springs !

Day 4 - Free Day in Banff
Hike, explore…it’s your day!
Day 5 - Banff to Athabasca Falls
The Icefield Parkway : The most beautiful stretch of road in the nation. See bears, wolves, elk, caribou, and cougars in their natural environment.
Crowfoot Glacier: This hanging glacier is just a tease for what’s in store for you!
Waterfowl Lake / Mt. Cephren : One word says it all….WOW!
Mistaya Canyon : Watch the Mistaya River disappear into this limestone wonder.
Big Bend Lookout: Overlooking the Highway, your jaw will drop!
Parker Ridge (seasonal): A viewpoint like no other! Check out the Saskatchewan glacier from 2500m above sea level.
Athabasca falls: Take a walk over to these rumbling falls from our hostel.
Athabasca Falls Wilderness Hostel: Campfires, Starry skies, just us and the bears!
Day 6 - Athabasca Falls to Lake Louise (via Jasper)
Medicine Lake: Keep an eye out for Moose!
Maligne Canyon: Take a stroll in this 8000 year old canyon.
Jasper Town site: Explore Jasper for Lunch and see the town.
Goat Viewpoint: Mountain goat spotting on the Athabasca River .
Stutfield: Part of the Columbia Icefield, this glacier hangs almost 1100m

Day 7 - Lake Louise to Banff
Lake Louise Area Hike: Take your time to walk around the brilliant blue lake or hike up to the Teahouse for stunning views and a hot chocolate.
Moraine Lake: “The Valley of the Ten Peaks” and the rock pile viewpoint will overwhelm you.
HI Banff: Unwind and let the last couple of days soak in. Hit the Storm Cellar before letting loose downtown!
Day 8 - Banff to Vancouver
Continental Divide and Yoho Park: Welcome back to beautiful BC! Enjoy the scenery!
Rogers Pass: Experience the history of this spectacular area.
The Last Spike: Learn about Canada ’s first trans-continental railway.
Siccamous: Take a break! Have an ice cream.
Kamloops and the Coquihalla: Breathtaking views and wildlife spotting!
