Leg 1 - Vancouver to Shuswap Lake

Leg 2- Shuswap Lake to Banff
Craigellachie (Monashee Mountains) – Historic last spike on Canada’s National Railway
Rogers Pass (Selkirk Mountains) – Highest mountain pass. Famous for Avalanches!
Natural Bridge and Emerald Lake – river erosion and aqua blue lakes
Lake Louise – Most visited place in the Rockies
Banff - Town of renown beauty and adventure (whitewater rafting, caving, hiking, and hot springs soaking are just a few)
Leg 3 - Banff to Rampart Creek
Banff Area Hike - Start the morning off with a light hike in the Banff area
Lake Louise (Victoria Glacier) Walk - The most photographed lake and most visited place in the Canadian Rockies! See the stunning aqua blue colour for yourself.
The Icefields Parkway - One of the most scenic stretches of highway in the world. See glaciers, lakes, waterfalls and wildlife all day long!
Crowfoot and Bow Glaciers - Pictureseque views of these glaciers and mountains overlooking Bow Lake.
Rampart Creek Hostel - Intimate wilderness hostel along the Icefields Parkway. Go for a sauna in the Rockies!
Leg 4 - Rampart Creek to Mount Edith Cavell
Weeping Wall - Hear the legend of why this mountain face is crying.
Big Bend Lookout - Great views of Cirrus Mountain and a classic U-shaped valley carved out by glaciers.
Columbia Icefield Glacier Walk - The largest ice cap south of the Arctic Circle. Covers an area the size of Vancouver (325km sq.) and as thick as 350 m. Enough room to fit every person in North America on its surface at one time! You'll get a chance to walk on it and start a snowball fight, even in the peak of summer!
Tangle Falls - Climb up alongside these cascading waterfalls for a great group photo!
Mt. Edith Cavell - Natives called it "White Ghost" in reference to the snow-covered mountain's appearance in the moonlight. Stay in a wilderness hostel in the shadow of the mountain.
Leg 5 - Jasper Area
Maligne Lake - Go for a paddle in a canoe or kayak on the largest lake in Jasper National Park.
Medicine Lake - An amazing disappearing lake! Look for moose in the shallows and along the shoreline.
Maligne Canyon Hike - The longest, deepest and most interesting limestone canyon in the Rockies (2km long and 55m deep!). Cool fossils too!
Jasper Townsite - Banff's smaller cousin is still a popular summer destination.
Roche Bonhomme - See the giant who "sleeps" on top of the mountains.
Leg 6 - Jasper to Banff
Athabasca Falls - The most impressive waterfall in the Canadian Rockies!
Goat Viewpoint - Look for mountain goats while enjoying the views of the Athabasca River valley.
Stutfield Glacier - Hangs off the 1100 m cliffs between Mount Kitchener and the Stutfield Peaks.
Peyto Lake - Perhaps the most spectacular of the glacial lakes, it's named after "Wild" Bill Peyto, a legend in the Rockies in the 1890's!
Moraine Lake (seasonal) - Scramble up the moraine pile for a stunning view of the lake in the "Valley of the Ten Peaks" (yet oddly there are more than ten peaks).
Banff - The hub of adventure activities in the Rocky Mountains! Jump off the bus and try whitewater rafting on the Kicking Horse River, caving in the Rat's Nest Caves, soaking in the Hot Springs, strolling through the village, or take in one of the area's many spectacular hikes.
Leg 7 - Banff to Revelstoke
Johnston Canyon- Check out the limestone canyon from a suspended walkway.
Takakkaw Falls - One of the highest waterfalls in Canada with a height of 380m.
Wolf sanctuary – see wolves in their natural habitat
Kayak on a Rocky Mountain lake
Leg 8 - Revelstoke to Kelowna
Sicamous – Go-karting, great ice cream, and a real live Canadian camel?
Enderby – flea market for “redneck” spotting!
Kalamalka Lake– National Geographic’s top10 lakes of the world.
Okanagan Lake – 140 km long lake is home to the “Ogopogo” monster (Nessie’s sister).
Kelowna – Borders on BC’s “pocket desert” – great place for sand, sun & fun.
Visit a winery and take a unique cruise on “Jaws” the killer houseboat.
Leg 9 - Kelowna to Vancouver
Okanagan Lake Floating bridge- the only bridge of its kind in Canada!
Othello Tunnels
Hope – The film site of Rambo’s “First Blood” kicked off Vancouver’s international reputation as Hollywood North!
